Northern Waterproofing & Restoration Co., Inc. was contracted by Arbor Management in-order to address persistent water infiltration issues in a 14-story building, due to a deteriorating brick façade. The initial phase of the project involved a comprehensive water-test investigation, during which NWR personnel replicated a wind-driven rain effect, while utilizing swing-stage equipment to access the façade’s exterior. Subsequent to the water-test, it was determined that water migration was occurring primarily through the deteriorating mortar joints within the façade, and Northern was tasked with the replacement of all sealant and mortar joints, followed by the application of an exterior high-build wall coating
